winter is here // inner scandinavian

HEEEEYYY GUUUUYS.

Oh man. That was weird. But I've missed my bloggy (but mostly you guys...) even though, yeah..it's only been a week. But I missed my usual RLW post yesterday + a lot can happen in a week.

^^^Just realized those last couple of words might make it sound like I got a boyfriend. But I promise you, no boyfriend. Unless you count this awful snow..and, in that case, WE'RE TOTALLY BREAKING UP. It needs to melt and go away. Okay okay..maybe I'm over reacting. Snow is pretty. And I can finally wear big scarves + cute pea-coats. But really. How can I be blamed for complaining? I was born an Autumn baby. I like being cold but not freezing. Speaking of big scarves, get a load of this one. My inner Scandinavian is in love. (No but seriously. My great great grandma or somethin' was Icelandic)

Do you know what has made me happy this week? (besides being alive + constantly being blessed by Jesus..dontcha know) THIS playlist.

Oh. And besides the weather + my snowy boyfriend, here are a few random questions for you!

1. If I made a Catholic youtube channel, would you subscribe + watch my videos?

2. Do you have a favorite scarf you've been wearing lately? Snap a pic and send it to me here!

3. What are your four fave jams this week?

4. How can I pray for you?

  1. I would totally subscribe if you created a Catholic YouTube channel and of course I would watch.
I'm not wearing scarves at the moment, where I live it's summer, but honestly you're making me want to pull them all out again with your talk of cold weather.
Fave jams: Blank Space, Steal my Girl, Shake It Off, Good Girls
You could pray that my cousin's wedding goes well, we're preparing everything for her.

  2. YOU ARE SO ADORABLE. I love your outfit!
And wait - you are part Icelandic? That is so dang cool. I'm a bit obsessed with Iceland, to be honest. I have Scandinavian blood in me, too - my mom's grandparents were Norwegian and Swedish!

  3. I LOVE your scarf! We have snow here too. Only, we don't have enough. *sniff. I love snow, so I was excited when I came out of my class at school last night and saw about 1/2 inch on the ground! Then I was disappointed when I got home because we didn't have as much at our house. I LOVE your scarf! And I would totally subscribe to a Catholic youtube channel!

    1. Hello Nuala! Always nice to see a new face. :) Haha, well someone has to love it. ;) I actually don't mind snow once it's closer to Christmas, but I'm still sad Autumn passed so quickly.

    2. Five inches is what the weather man said. What we got? Less than 1/2 of an inch

  6. Ahh, you're so adorable! And that scarf is lovely. <3

    Wow, you're Icelandic?! How cool! That's definitely a bragging right! ;-) I'm British/Irish on my Dad's side, and French/Indian on my mum's. :-)

You don't like snow?! For shame! Jokes ;-) As I'm writing this, there's a lovely blanket of snow coating the ground and trees. *Sings* "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

And finally, In response to your questions:
    1) Ooh, you should totally start a YouTube channel! I'd subscribe. :)
    2) My phone is acting a little strange, so I can't snap you a pic, but my favourite scarf right now is red, orange, teal, beige, mauve, and pale gold... come to think of it, it looks a little Scandinavian!
    3) Lately I've been listening to a TON of Josh Groban. He's so talented!
    4) If you don't mind, please pray that I can find a part time job! Is there anything you'd like me to pray for?

    Cheers!

I'm praying for you, Chelsea! And I'd love it if you prayed for me. I'm really struggling with trusting Him to my future right now. :P Thanks for the comment! ♥
